What you need to know about our service

For server members

The bot has limited features with regards to interacting with non-authorised users, such as ordinary server members.

If you DM or mention the bot, then the content of your message along with your username might be forwarded to another channel. This is so that the bot owner can reply to you. Your message and username are not stored on any non-Discord servers. If you would like to request that your message be deleted, please email alertbots@vps.dukedan.uk.

For bot owners

Your privacy

We respect your privacy and do not collect much data about you. The only identifying data we collect is data that is necessary for us to deliver our services. This consists of basic information, such as your name and e-mail address. We do not collect your physical address, as we operate a solely virtual service.

All PII (Personal Identifiable Information) - any data that could be used to identify you personally, is stored securely and in full compliance with GDPR and any other applicable legislation. If you wish to request a copy of the data we hold on you, request that the data is modified, or request its deletion, please get in touch.

Guidelines you must follow

You mustn't abuse our services. The following are examples of activities that are prohibited. Please note that this is a non-exhaustive list.

• Using the service to engage in activities that violate the Discord Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Using the service to engage in activities that are illegal in any of the following jurisdictions, as well as the country or territory in which you reside, if that country is not listed. If you are using the services from another country or territory, for example, if you are on vacation, the laws of that country or territory may also apply.
• United States
• United Kingdom
• Germany
• Engaging in activities that are intended to degrade the performance of other people's bots.
• Engaging in activities that are intended to cause problems on the server.
• Attempting to exploit or hack the bot, server, or any other tangible or intangible item(s) related to the services that we provide you.
• Attempting to steal intellectual property or any other tangible or intangible items(s) that you have not been granted access to, such as the source code.
• Using the services to impede the experience of other Discord users.
• Abusing any custom features that may have been added to your bot, for example, the ability to distribute content sent to the bot via a webhook.
• We retain the ability to remove or change the custom feature that you have abused, without warning or refund, if applicable. We also have the final say on what constitutes abuse, and what doesn't.

Violating any of these obligations may result in your bot being terminated without refund or warning.

Our obligations to you

The services you receive must be in good working order. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the services we provide you, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If we change the Terms of Service, we will do our best to reach out to you and inform you of this, but notice is not guaranteed. Any changes shall apply to your bot regardless of when you purchased it.

We are not responsible for any losses sustained, financial or otherwise, either as a result of using the service or a lack of availability of the service, for example, if Discord doesn't work, you don't have an internet connection or your bot is unavailable for another reason.

Refunds and cancellations

If you have a subscription, you are free to cancel it at any time, and you can do so via PayPal. Refunds for billing cycles that you have already paid for are not guaranteed unless there is a fault with your service, and we have been unable to fix this fault within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are paying using a different method, perhaps because you have bought your bot from The Market Bishop#8888 (or someone else), you should contact the person that sold you the bot in order to cancel.

Our right of termination

If you have violated any of the obligations listed under "Guidelines you must follow", your bot may be terminated without refund or warning.

We maintain the right to terminate your services for any reason. However, if we decide to terminate your services, but feel that you have not abused our services, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you and negotiate a refund and/or other type of compensation.

Your bot might also be managed by my partner, The Market Bishop (The Market Bishop#8888 on Discord). If you have bought your bot from The Market Bishop, please contact them for general enquiries.
